| All ages love Digger Stevens, from Tots, Teens to Seniors and here's why: In today’s serious climate, the need for good entertainment has never been greater. The Digger Stevens Band, a dynamic musical trio, surprisingly provides a big sound at lower volumes that allow audience conversation. The Digger Stevens Band “is a fun band for people who are already having fun,” and has a big following. Digger Stevens usually performs warm weather, outdoor concerts, on the green or gazebo. Lately the Digger Stevens Band has entertained at Senior Centers and Biker events. Go figure. Also available for private parties and special weddings and events. Concert latecomers surprisingly report that the band sounds larger than just three musicians. Blended together; Digger, Mark, and Sonny provide good music, entertainment and humor, turning your venue into a real party. Audience participation is also provided in the show as Digger connects with the audience. The Band’s repertoire meets select quality requirements such as; entertain-ability, uniqueness (chances are that we play the ‘b-side of the hit), a sense-of-humor, lyrical appeal, and a foot tapping beat at the very least. Our selection of music is in the genres of; Rhythm & Blues, Boogie, and Swing - mostly from the ‘30s, ‘40s &’50s. This insures that your audience has a positive experience and is in much better state than before they came. |

As the band's front man, lead vocalist, and drummer, Digger entertains with witty
adages, quips, and audience participation. He was born somewhere in Canada
taking to the drums as a child prodigy. His father was a swing band musician at
the time and taught Digger on his 1933 vintage Leedy Drum set that Digger nowl
plays in concert for you! Diggger's driving rhythm fuels the band with an
infectious foot tapping beat that is hard to sit still to. Digger has toured statewide
with the band for many years. He has opened for such acts as; Muddy Waters,
John Lee Hooker and Albert Collins. He has also played with Sonny Land Slim,
Bigtime Sarah, Willie Dixon, and L.A. Jones. As a songwriter for the band, Digger
has also written a number of tunes.

accompaniment. Few performers can play two instruments for you at once - let
alone as well! Marc also sings rich harmonies that add depth to the band's
vocals. Marc lays down his classic bottom lines in the band on his vintage
Fender Telecaster Bass. An accomplished musician, Marc is the other half of our
driving rhythm section. Harmonica Marc has backed Digger for over 30 years –
someone to see!

either original riffs or signature chops in tribute of B.B. King, Muddy Waters,
Albert King, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Jimi Hendrix. Performing
with the Digger Stevens Band for over 25 years, Sonny was also once a sideman in
the back up group for Grammy Award Nominee; Fred Parris and the Satins (“In The
Still of the Night”), as well as other R&B, Country, and Jazz groups. Sonny also
shares his talents with the band as a songwriter.
